Kenn Blanchard was a Marine Security Guard and protected international celebrities, US diplomats. He then joined a Previously non-disclosed agency where he taught firearms, tactics and protection. (he discloses it in this interview!)
Since 1991, he has been involved in almost every pro-rights event that involved a person of color. He’s worked with all the pro rights organizations, the National Rifle Association, the Law Enforcement Alliance of America, the Second Amendment Foundation, the CATO Institute, Gun Owners of America, and the list continues.
Kenn has lobbied the US Congress, testified in the state legislatures of Virginia, Texas, South Carolina, Michigan, Maryland, and Wisconsin. He has done commercials for TV against racist gun laws and been featured in three documentaries and debated nationally known anti-second amendment people on national television.
In addition to his activism, Kenn is a published author, produces a popular podcast called The Urban Shooter, and is the pastor of a Baptist church in Washington D.C. Still if you asked Kenn what he is he’d probably just say “I’m a loving husband… and that’s enough.”
Everything Kenn has done since he left public service involves communication and that is what this discussion was all about!
