ESS Eye ProESS Eye Protection

I have already covered the ESS Crossbow Eye Pro with the RX inserts, but we aren’t done with them yet!

Lee doesn’t wear glasses and he is going to put them through their paces for a different perspective and since he is more sensitive to the width of the ear pieces he is eager to try the suppressor frames.

I also have plans to cover the 3 different lens as well… There is a lot to do with this kit!

But that still leaves 2 boxes… I haven’t figured out what to do with those yet, maybe a giveaway? (What do you think???)

Sticky Holster M4 with Glock 19Sticky Holsters

The Sticky Holster is one of the items that I have been excited to test and I fully expect them to available in the store after the SHOT Show.

These holsters are “sticky” (hee hee) and do a great job of remaining in the pocket when used as a pocket holster… but they also stay in place well enough to be used as an IWB holster when you can’t/don’t want to have a clip or for a quick trip.

What gun would you want one for?

Blade-tech Appendix Holster for the M&P ShieldAppendix Holsters

Tactically and for concealabilty, I love the idea of appendix carry. It keeps the gun on the mid-line, it puts the “bulge” in a socially unacceptable place to touch or even look… but I have never found a holster that I liked for appendix carry (Which is why I don’t carry the Comp-Tac Holster)

I have been talking with the folks at Blade-tech for the last 6 months anxiously awaiting the new appendix holster.

They have been close a few times, but redesigned the clip, changed the body… and it just kept getting delayed.
Blade-Tech NanoAt the same time they sent me the AIWB holster Blade-tech sent me the Nano for the Shield as well. This holster has been the best AIWB option they have had until now, but I wanted to see how the double attachment point would would affect stability.

They think they have got it right now and I’m going to withhold judgement until I have more time with it, but so far I like it!

5.11 S&W M&P9c Appendix Holster

I also have a 3rd AIWB holster made my Blade-tech, but this time it is labeled for 5.11.

Unfortunately this one is for a S&W M&P 9c, not for my shield, but I will be able to dissect the design and construction differences.

I even found out yesterday that I have the new Comp-tac Infidel Ultra on its way as well! This should be of interest to all of the MTAC fans on the site.

If you need a test for that 9c appendix rig let me know :-) I’ve been carrying AIWB for about two years now and been trying a 9c for the last 6 months. I’m using a Highnoon leather holster at the moment. It’s comfortable and conceals very well but rides to low to get a full grip.
